Have you ever wondered that the longest name of the town would be 85 letters long? Most might not believe it but that's the truth. There is a town near Porangahau in southern Hawke's Bay, New Zealand with the name of 85 letters and its name is:
Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu
This might seem useless or unimaginable but it actually has a meaning. It means "The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the slider, climber of mountains, the land-swallower who traveled about, played his kÅauau (flute) to his loved one".

2) ROUGHLY 23 MILLION PASSENGERS ARE TRANSPORTED BY THE INDIAN RAILWAYS EACH DAY!
I was surprised when I first got to know about these statistics a few times back. But it is true. The whole population of a neighboring country Nepal is roughly 27 million and 23 million people in India are traveling in India every single day!
The Indian railway system runs around 12,500 trains with this many people.
3) EGYPT IS NOT THE COUNTRY WITH MOST PYRAMIDS!
Egypt is also associated with pyramids, but it does not have the most number of pyramids. It's Sudan that has the most number of pyramids in the world. It is always a wrong assumption that Egypt has the most pyramids.
The fact is Egypt only has over 100 pyramids but Sudan is expected to have 220 plus pyramids. According to Wikipedia, Sudan has almost 240 Nubian pyramids.
